59th Periodic Meeting of the Specialized Arab Federations Forum Under the Council of Arab Economic Unity

Held in Cairo – Pyramisa Hotel, May 26, 2024

The Arab Federation of Shipping (AFOS) participated in the 59th periodic meeting of the Specialized Arab Federations Forum under the Council of Arab Economic Unity. AFOS was represented by Dr. Mohamed Awad, who attended on behalf of Mr. Mohamed Suleiman Metwally, President of the Federation.

The session was inaugurated by H.E. Ambassador Mohamedi Ahmed Al-Ni, Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Economic Unity, and chaired by Mr. Tarek Al-Tamimi, President of the Arab Federation for Leather Industries. The meeting was attended by representatives of member states, as well as heads and delegates of federations affiliated with the Council.

The meeting provided a platform for in-depth discussions on economic challenges and opportunities, reinforcing the significance of cooperation among Arab federations to achieve shared economic goals.
